she was born and raised in California to a family of German, Irish, and Spanish descent. 1 She attempted to enter college to study for a degree in science. She worked at a pizza parlor, a burger joint, and as a waitress to try to earn an income and pay for her studies. When she failed, plagued by debt, as she mentioned in various interviews, she earned a CNA degree and worked in a nursing home for eight months Cali has two older brothers and a younger brother. Carter's first job was working at a pizza place. Cali went on to get a job at a burger restaurant at age sixteen and worked her way up from busier and expediter to server/bartender at that particular restaurant.
