Milk Ichigo, born in Hokkaido on February 2, 1981, is known for her role as "Ichigo Miruku" in the Japanese AV industry. She began her career in magazine work and later transitioned to videos. Her first video, "I Love You Ichigo Milk," was released on December 25, 2000, on the Kuki Tank label. She faced criticism from the actors and director, Happy Yamada, who she worked with in numerous videos over the next two years.

Ichigo's video titles often featured the word "strawberry," such as Strawberry Club in the cosplay genre and Strawberry Sherbert in April 2001. Her other videos included A Summer Strawberry, Strawberry Gathering, A Snow Strawberry, and Strawberry Call, which featured her playing three different roles as sisters. In 2001, Ichigo won the Best Actress Award at the X City Grand Prix Awards ceremony.

In 2002, she made her last video for Kuki, entitled "Goodbye," portraying a teacher having sex with her students. She also worked with Max-A Samansa and Alice Japan, part of the Kuki-associated group of AV companies. The cover from the video box for Splash is her favorite.

In late 2002, Ichigo switched studios to Moodyz, one of the constituent companies in the Hokuto Corporation. Her first two videos were with her first director, Happy Yamada. She continued with Moodyz for almost a year before essentially stopping making original videos for mainstream Japanese porn.

Beginning in late 2003, Ichigo made several "uncensored" videos, which lack the mosaic pixelation used to obscure genitals in standard Japanese AV and are only marketed internationally outside of Japan or in underground venues. These videos include Japanese Superidols Gold Vol. 19 from March 2004 and the September 2005 super-heroine cosplay adventure Akiba-Troops! Cutie Rangers!, co-starring Sakura Sakurada and Tsumiki Shindo.

In July 2005, Japanese news sources reported that Miruku Ichigo attempted suicide in her Tokyo apartment. She took 20 sleeping pills and slashed her wrists, with a note claiming it was due to Shintaro Yoshitake, a relief pitcher for the Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks baseball team with whom Ichigo was having an affair. Ichigo was taken to the hospital by police, who had been alerted by her mother who was worried by her daughter's hints about suicide.

From late 2005, Ichigo was seen only infrequently in the adult video industry. She made two videos for the newly formed CROSS studio and then returned in November 2006 to make two S&M bondage movies with Attackers. However, almost two years passed before she made her next video, Comeback, with Moodyz in December 2008. She also released a new title, Birth Operating Table Fuck, for Attackers in early 2009.
