Jewelz Blu: I’m from SoCal and live in LA. I’ve been doing mainstream porn for the last 4 ½ years. Before that, I did cam girl stuff and I was a Pro Dom. I’ve done many different things.

CJ: How old are you?

Jewelz: I turned 29 on Sept. 21.

Before porn

Jewelz: I think I was always interested in a lot of sexual things but I think what led me to where I am today, I call it my sexual evolution. I discovered myself and the things I like more and more and being open to those things. So, yes and no. (laughs)

Jewelz: The cam stuff came first. When I turned 18, I first made a profile on MFC because I wanted to try it out. I had followed some cam girls back then and I thought it was fun and cool. And into exhibitionism and the voyeur aspects of being a cam girl. I did that for a year on and off. I stopped doing that for a while and kind of fell off. And then I became a pro dom because I had a friend who was a Dom at the time. We were working together. And when I stopped doing that after 3 years, I got back into doing cam girl stuff. Literally right before I started porn in 2019.

Jewelz: I definitely did fool around with some of my high school best friends before porn. (laughs)

Entering porn

Jewelz: It was something that I’ve always wanted to try but never had the guts to do it before. I actually met with some people and met some porn girls through the festival rave scene and they were telling me what it’s like to be in porn. I told them that it was something I always wanted to do. I saw it as the next step in my sex work journey and career. At the time, before porn, I was growing a big social media following through the rave and festival scene. I was already putting myself out there on the internet in that type of way. Porn was always something I wanted to do but I was a little nervous about it. I just thought about it and it’s the art of not giving a fuck and you just have to do it. (laughs)

Business venture

Jewelz: Yes. For my own website and my OnlyFans, I produce a lot of super high production value scenes with crazy sets and wardrobes and themes. I’m definitely interested in that. I recently actually had a script that I wrote for a Brazzers scene and I pitched it to them and they booked me for it and shot my script. It was a Blade Runner/cyber parody. I think I have a great stylistic eye for on-camera content. A lot of the things I’ve shot for companies, especially my cosplay scenes, they are always characters that I pitched. I tell them I think it’s going to do well and it’s a trending thing. Also, my audience, for the people who consume my porn, are cosplay fans and ravers, I definitely have my niche audience. (laughs)

Jewelz: When I first got into porn 4 years ago, the look that I have, I don’t have tattoos, I have colored hair, an egirl type of vibe, that was not a thing. I was told that I wasn’t going to be successful, I was told that I was going to have to dye my hair to make it. I feel like I’ve paved the way for girls who don’t have the full alt look and made it more acceptable. It’s kind of rough out there for us alternative looking girls. Since then, I’ve been seeing more people accept that look and take on a more alternative look as well. I call it a soft-alt because I don’t have any tattoos. I stayed true to my brand and who I am. That’s really corny and cheesy but really true. (laughs) I faced some adversity with my look at the beginning of my career but you can be successful as long as you own it and are true to you.

Dating guys

Jewelz: I actually don’t have a lot of civilian encounters. But the few that I have had, I definitely want someone that has the same interests as me, be into music and likes to have fun and be spontaneous. Looks are a thing but, honestly, what’s attractive to me is when someone’s respectful, gentlemanly. I’m old fashioned when it comes to guys and dating. I like a gentleman and someone who opens the door for you, just stuff like that. (laughs)

hobbies

Jewelz: When I’m not filming or doing anything work related, I love going to raves, I love going to festivals, I love hanging out with my friends, I love doing cosplay stuff just for fun. I like hiking and being outdoors, I like traveling and I also like enjoy time where I can do nothing and just veg out. (laughs)

Jewelz: Yes! Before I got into porn, I was a go-go dancer, getting into the festival/rave scene like a lot of my friends did. And I started learning hula hoop dance and I eventually started doing it on fire. It’s mostly self-taught and taught from my Burning Man community. That’s the best way to describe it. I’ve been fire dancing since 2016. I really like it.

Favorite music

Jewelz: Top genres that I like to listen to and go see live are Drum and Bass. I like House as well, it’s really fun to dance to. Also, side trance. (laughs)

favorite movies?

Jewelz: Recently, the two movies that I really loved were The Barbie Movie, loved it, and also Pearl.

favorite TV shows?

Jewelz: A recent TV show that I watched is a comedy and called, I Think You Should Leave

favorite food?

Jewelz: Mangos.
