Octavia Red: I’m from California. I was born and raised here. I can’t specifically say a city because I moved 21 times before I turned 18. I’m from all over the state!

Octavia: I was actually home-schooled until 6th grade. I didn’t have any teachers or tutors or anything. I kind of taught myself how to read and write. I didn’t really make any friends until 7th or 8th grade.

Usually, I can figure out what’s going to happen at the end but I was totally slapped in the face with surprise at the end. I was, ‘What the fuck? How did I not see that coming?’ But I really liked the message behind it, what it’s showing you about the mundane aspects of our lives and how we repeat, repeat, repeat. We never push things. It kind of hit home for me when I was a kid.
