Phoenix Raine: I grew up in a very small town in the Jackson, Mississippi area. So, from a very young age, I struggled with my childhood. I had a hard home life. I had a very strong relationship with my mother. I got into a lot of trouble in my younger years. I’ll say it ran through the blood. I was supposed to be the generational curse breaker but we all had our struggles. I had a rough patch. I moved away to South Florida in my junior year in high school. I lived in Miami but I came from a very small town, a low income household. My uncle took me in and I went to a whole different lifestyle and I went a little wild. I got my first car, multiple cars. I crashed a lot of those, my poor uncle! (laughs) I loved him so much and he wanted to keep me out of that childhood that I was raised in. I did end up going to college back in my hometown. I did theater art and communication but, at some point, my life took a very dark turn. I got hooked on drugs pretty badly, got into a bad lifestyle…I let my trauma catch up to me. 5 years ago, May, 2018, I got sober from meth amphetamines. I’m 5 years clean and I just shifted things, got away from the small town and started over. I got married and tried to do the whole housewife thing and I found myself in a violent domestic marriage so I had to leave. That’s pretty much a fast paced summary of where I am right now. In January, I left my husband, packed up my stuff and my basset hound and I started chasing my dreams. I’m a very sexual human. I love sex, I love films, I love acting. I’m 30 years old, I’ve seen a lot, I’ve done a lot. I did do 3 years in the career of my dreams and decided to take a break from that as well.
Phoenix: I was a drug and alcohol counselor. I worked in a treatment center for 3 years but my mental health started to get the best of me. Something unlocked inside me and Phoenix was born. I jumped into the industry with dreams and goals and now we are healing. This is my dream and I’m having a blast! (laughs)
Losing virginity
Phoenix: 16. That was late. But, before that, I used to make up rumors and tell people that I already did it. I made up this whole persona about myself which wasn’t true.

Phoenix: Yes. Definitely the teacher thing, that’s happened before in college. (laughs) That was exciting! I have a thing for psychology and he had a thing for the mind. I was very naïve back then. I’ve always had the older man relationship so that was an aspect of it as well.

Phoenix: That was when I was living in Miami. We used to party on the beaches and everyone is equal out there. Just party and have fun and we don’t see age. Anywhere in Miami, you can find yourself an older man.
